Mike Gabrawy 当公司“门神”？

Producer of several profitable feature films and numerous shorts, Mike Gabrawy’s mission is to make films that not only entertain but also inspire. He had great success early on:  in the late 1990s, Gabrawy was responsible for acquiring and developing the Sony Playstation game Resident Evil for Constantin Films which became Sony ScreenGems’ highest grossing film for the year it was released launching one of the most successful sequel franchises of all time, grossing over $500 million worldwide second only to the SPIDERMAN Franchise for Sony. 
 

Gabrawy Joined Arclight Films in May of 2008 to build Arclight production and development infrastructure.  In a short time Gabrawy has secured and and or developed a number of high profile projects that are currently in various stages of development, pre-production and production and post-production including THE COURIER written by Michael Brandt and Derek Haas (3:10 TO YUMA, WANTED) to be directed by Academy Award Nominee Hany Abu-Assad (PARADISE NOW), BAIT written and to be directed by Russell Mulcahy (RESIDENT EVIL:EXTINCTION), THE CHASE to be directed by John McTiernan and the teen thriller ALTITUDE directed by award winning comic book artist Kaare Andrews.

Prior to joining Arclight, Gabrawy released the multiple festival-winning documentary RUNNING WITH ARNOLD; Alec Baldwin narrates this humorous look at Hollywood action star Arnold Schwarzenegger’s rise to celebrity and political power. Gabrawy also produced PEACOCK, written and directed by Michael Lander (KITE, starting Leonardo DiCaprio).  The FOX SEARCHLAB short is based on the feature script of the same name, which ranked in the top five screenplays of 2006 by the entertainment industry’s Insider Blacklist.  The feature version of PEACOCK stars Cillian Murphy and Ellen Page.

Leading up to his producing career and joining Arclight, Mike Gabrawy was hired as an executive by German independent giant Constantin Films. In addition to RESIDENT EVIL, it was here that he actively developed several projects including the comic book classics FANTASTIC FOUR and SILVER SURFER. Before this milestone, Gabrawy moved through the ranks in production forging strong industry relationships and was hired by several top line producers to work in various production posts on major releases such as NAKED GUN 33 1/3, A LITTLE PRINCESS, STARGATE, WATERWORLD and INDEPENDENCE DAY.
